CoVid-19 – A message to our customers

Lockdown may be over, at least for the present, but we want to protect our customers and our staff, whilst continuing to offer all our usual services. When we visit your property, our staff will wash their hands or use hand sanitiser before and after their visit.  They will wear gloves and either a visor or a face mask.

We ask that you observe social distancing, open any doors between the rooms they will be working in before they arrive and, where possible, have a window open in the room they are working to increase airflow.  Before leaving your property we will clean surfaces we have touched with our normal cleaning products.  Please do not offer our staff food or drinks, to minimise risk.  If you are isolating or have had any symptoms of CoVid-19 in the last 14 days, please re-arrange your appointment – we want to make sure that every one of our customers is as  protected as possible.

Businesses with counters, cash desks or reception desks will be pleased to hear that we are able to supply and fit or supply only clear roller screens (hygiene screens) to protect staff and clients. Please click the link below for more information on these.

Do I have to have a child safety clip fitted to the wall to secure the cords and chain?

Yes this is legislation that we have to ensure is undertaken

Are my blinds/Curtains or shutters guaranteed?

Yes. For owner-occupiers, all parts and fitting is guaranteed for five years. For rental properties, the guarantee is for one year.

How do I clean my blinds if they get dirty?

There are different ways of doing this – for vertical and roller blind we recommend a warm soapy water solution

How do I contact you out of hours or at weekends if I have a problem?

We are available to contact 24/7 and 365 days a year. You will always speak to someone and we will return your call within 24 hours.

If my blind is older than 5 years will you still repair it?

Yes – we believe our customers who have purchase blinds/curtains from us are customers for life. We will always try to repair any blind fitted by us if it is possible to do so.

Can I get in touch with you by email?

Yes – we can be contacted by emailing us – We will always try to respond within 24 hours but more often than not this will be much quicker

Do you do quotations and fittings outside of normal working hours?

Yes we do – evenings and weekends are usually not a problem, although it may take slightly longer to arrange an appointment.

What if I want to complain about something?

We would want you to contact us – we will listen to your complaint and seek to rectify a problem in a way that suits you. If you are not happy with what we offer you can contact the Buy with Confidence scheme at who will look into your complaint.
